Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I draw from several evidence-informed and experiential approaches, adapting our work to your history, nervous system, relationships, strengths, and goals.
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy
AEDP is a relational, attachment-focused approach that helps people safely experience and process emotions that may once have felt overwhelming or had to be pushed away. Through the experience of being deeply seen and accompanied, old patterns can begin to shift and new emotional capacities can emerge.
CBT helps us notice the relationship between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and beliefs. Together, we can identify patterns that may be reinforcing anxiety, depression, shame, or self-doubt—and develop more flexible and compassionate ways of responding.
Our bodies often carry what our minds cannot fully explain. Somatic approaches bring gentle attention to physical sensations, nervous-system responses, movement, breath, and the body’s natural signals. This can help restore a sense of safety, regulation, and connection.
Inner child work helps us compassionately explore the younger parts of ourselves that may still carry unmet needs, painful experiences, or beliefs formed early in life. Rather than judging or trying to eliminate these parts, we work to understand what they have been protecting and offer the safety, care, and reassurance that may have been missing. This can support greater self-compassion and help loosen patterns that no longer serve you.
The stories we tell about ourselves are shaped by relationships, culture, family, and experience—but they are not the whole of who we are. Narrative therapy helps separate you from the problem, uncover overlooked strengths, and create space for a fuller and more empowering understanding of your life.
Nature can offer perspective, grounding, movement, and a sense of connection beyond the therapy room. When appropriate, we may incorporate walking sessions, outdoor reflection, or nature-based practices that support emotional regulation, curiosity, and renewal.
These approaches are not separate formulas that I apply to you. They are tools we choose together—always within a relationship built on safety, curiosity, and respect.
