At 40, I left a successful career in sales, marketing, and organizational development to follow a deeper calling: helping people heal and transform. That journey led me to study counseling with a focus on grief, trauma, mindfulness, somatic practices, and energy healing.

Education
Master of Arts in Counseling with an Emphasis in Grief and Trauma
Rather than relying on a single model, I integrate these approaches thoughtfully to meet the unique needs of each person. My work is guided by attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and the belief that healing occurs through safe relationships, emotional processing, and the integration of mind, body, and experience.

My Counseling Career
I began my counseling career at a recovery center in Santa Fe, later worked as a school-based therapist serving at-risk youth, and eventually opened a private practice dedicated to supporting adults. Today, I help clients become curious about the larger story unfolding in their lives and discover how even life’s most difficult challenges can become turning points for growth and renewal.
I am continually inspired by the resilience of the human spirit and its capacity to heal, adapt, and grow. My approach combines compassion with gentle challenge, creating a space where you can explore your experiences with curiosity while moving toward greater authenticity, possibility, and hope.
One of my favorite insights is:
“The problem with problems is we think we’re not supposed to have them.”
Yet our struggles are often part of our development. As we learn to navigate them, we begin to feel safer within ourselves and more connected to the world around us.
